Digital Marketing Specialist (SEO & AI) – Part-Time Contract
This role focuses on elevating the online presence of a leading solar solutions provider in Canada, with a primary market in Alberta and offices in Calgary and Edmonton. The successful candidate will:
- Drive SEO initiatives to improve search engine rankings.
- Enhance Google Maps visibility and location-based searches.
- Leverage AI-driven strategies to maximize digital reach.
The position is a part-time, contract-based, fully remote role—ideal for making an immediate impact in a competitive, rapidly evolving sector.
Deliverables
- Conduct comprehensive SEO audits and implement:
- On-page and off-page optimization strategies for the company website.
- Local SEO improvements, particularly for Google Maps and Alberta-based visibility.
- Develop and execute AI-powered techniques to enhance:
- Website visibility.
- User engagement.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance metrics, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align SEO strategies with business goals and marketing campaigns.
- Stay updated on latest SEO, AI trends, tools, and best practices tailored to the solar industry.

Requirements
- Proven experience in SEO, including:
- Technical, on-page, and off-page optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to improve search rankings and local SEO, especially for Google Maps.
- Familiarity with AI-driven marketing tools and techniques.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with:
- Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
- Experience working with clients in energy, technology, or related sectors is an asset.
- Ability to:
- Work independently.
- Manage time effectively and deliver results on a part-time, contract basis.
- Must be available to start immediately and work remotely.
