About the role
We're looking for experienced, GMC-registered GPs based in the UK to join our remote-first Clinical Team.
This role focuses primarily on supporting patients accessing weight management treatment, including assessing suitability for GLP-1 medications, reviewing ongoing treatment, and prescribing safely in line with national guidance and ZAVA's clinical protocols. You'll also provide care across a range of other conditions that can be safely managed through our asynchronous digital platform.

Rather than traditional face-to-face or scheduled telephone consultations, you'll review structured online consultations, communicate with patients through secure messaging, and make autonomous, evidence-based clinical decisions. You'll also work closely with colleagues across Clinical, Product, Engineering, Operations and Patient Care to continuously improve the way healthcare is delivered.
What you'll own
- Review asynchronous patient consultations and deliver safe, evidence-based care
- Assess suitability for GLP-1 therapies and prescribe safely within clinical guidelines
- Support patients throughout their treatment journey with ongoing clinical reviews
- Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement and guideline development
- Help shape new digital healthcare services and clinical pathways
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
- Participate in regular teaching, peer learning and professional development
What we're looking for
- Fluent German and English, written and verbal
- GMC registration with a licence to practise and CCT in General Practice
- Based in the UK with the right to work
- Strong UK General Practice experience and excellent clinical judgement
- Confident making autonomous decisions within a digital healthcare environment
- Excellent written communication skills and compassionate patient care
- Comfortable using digital platforms and electronic clinical systems
- Passion for innovation and improving healthcare through technology
Nice to have:
- Experience supporting patients with obesity or weight management
- Knowledge of GLP-1 therapies and UK obesity guidance
- Experience in digital healthcare, telemedicine or asynchronous consultations
- Clinical governance or guideline development experience
- Additional language skills (French or Spanish)
