Remote Head of Company Secretarial Services

Introduction

I am delighted to be supporting a highly regarded professional services firm with the appointment of an experienced company secretarial role. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation offering a fully remote working environment, excellent work-life balance, and the chance to play a key role in shaping the future direction of a successful company secretarial function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop Company Secretarial and compliance teams
  • Provide strategic oversight across cosec services and client delivery
  • Support business development, client relationships, and growth opportunities
  • Act as a senior technical adviser on complex company law and governance matters
  • Drive process improvements, quality standards, and operational efficiency

Key Skills & Experience

  • Must be a qualified solicitor with solid post-qualification experience (CGI Chartered Secretary qualification advantageous but not essential)
  • Strong knowledge of UK company law, governance, and compliance requirements
  • Senior leadership experience within a professional services environment
  • Proven experience managing teams and client relationships
  • Experience with Diligent Entities highly desirable
