The Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing financial planning firm seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their team.

This is a fully remote opportunity, offering the flexibility to work from home while supporting Financial Advisers with high-quality technical and administrative assistance. You'll become part of a collaborative business that values accuracy, client service and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare suitability reports in line with FCA requirements.
  • Conduct technical research across pensions, investments and protection products.
  • Analyse client information and make recommendations to support Financial Advisers.
  • Prepare client review packs and meeting documentation.
  • Carry out product and fund research using industry research tools.
  • Liaise with advisers, providers and third parties to obtain information and resolve queries.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, compliant and completed within agreed timescales.
  • Maintain accurate client records using CRM and back-office systems.
  • Provide technical support to Financial Advisers throughout the advice process.

  • Previous experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA or financial planning firm.
  • Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and protection.
  • Experience writing suitability reports.
  • Excellent technical and analytical skills.
  • Experience using CRM and back-office systems.
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing a varied workload.
  • Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or working towards) is desirable.
