Role Overview

In this freelance contract role, you will work on projects to fine-tune large language models (LLMs, such as ChatGPT) using your strong analytical and English comprehension skills.

Ideal Candidate

  • A strong foundation in Physics, equivalent to engineering entrance exam level or graduate/PhD-level coursework.
  • Ability to break down complex Physics concepts into simple, clear, accessible explanations.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of efficient remote work.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Design and solve: Tackle challenging Physics problems to evaluate LLM limitations.
  • Create structured solutions: Develop step-by-step, high-quality solutions with clear reasoning, ideal for benchmarking.
  • Collaborate: Work with LLM researchers to align problems with evaluation goals, focusing on areas where models struggle (e.g., abstraction, multi-step reasoning, symbolic manipulation).
  • Define benchmarks: Help create new evaluation standards inspired by Physics curricula, spanning early undergraduate to PhD-level topics.
