Salary: £75,000 - £85,000

Location: Remote Working (2 days a month in office)
A progressive and friendly Legal 500 firm, previously awarded as a "Top Law Firm" by The Times newspaper, is looking for a strong Senior Solicitor (Associate or Senior Associate) to join their reputable Property Litigation team on a predominantly remote basis. This is an expansion position and the firm typically manage a diverse caseload of complex real estate disputes, arising primarily from residential estates in the London area, including high quality landlord and tenant, service charge, development, property management, dilapidation, possession, and forfeiture matters.
The firm is well established, focusing solely on property matters and offering a highly competitive renumeration package, including a percentage based bonus scheme. Due to their location in the East Midlands, they are happy to offer significant amounts of remote working, with many current employees attending the office only 2 days a month. I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
