**Remote Services Coordinator – Physiotherapy Team
Hybrid Working | Permanent | Full-Time
£25,545.00 per annum (37.5 hours per week)
Location: Remote (5 days/week) + Epsom (1 day/quarter)
Operating Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 07:00 – 20:00
- Saturday: 08:00 – 12:00
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Nuffield Health’s dynamic and fast-paced Physiotherapy team. As a Remote Services Coordinator (Hybrid), you will play a crucial role in supporting the Remote Services function of the Advanced Level Physiotherapy and Triage teams.
Working closely with the Remote Services Senior Coordinator, Advanced Level Physiotherapy Team Leaders, Triage Team Leaders, and Physiotherapists, you will contribute to the smooth operation of Nuffield Health’s Remote Services by managing systems, improving workflows, and ensuring seamless customer interactions.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will:
IT & Technical Support
- Support the team with IT systems, including identifying and resolving technical issues before they escalate.
- Optimise processes to ensure systems function efficiently and promptly escalate or address any retrospective issues.
Operational Management
- Assist Team Leaders with daily management of triage and case management diaries.
- Liaise with other departments as necessary to streamline workflows.

Data & Resource Management
- Manage, organise, and update relevant data using database applications.
- Offer diary management services, including:
- Resource planning and optimisation
- Proactive management and forecasting
- Highlighting potential issues before they arise
Customer Engagement & Communication
- Handle incoming customer communications across calls, emails, and other channels.
- Ensure a seamless customer journey, from first contact to resolution.
- Promote a positive representation of Nuffield Health through clear, professional communication.
- Escalate patient or complaint issues to management where necessary.
Compliance & Process Adherence
- Communicate effectively across channels, share knowledge with colleagues, and respond to enquiries within your remit.
- Adhere strictly to Data Protection principles and maintain confidentiality in handling patient and organisational information.
- Follow health and safety policies and quality management procedures.
Personal Development
- Take responsibility for personal growth through 1:1 meetings, training, and annual appraisals.
- Undertake additional reasonable duties as required by the team.
Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
- UK healthcare administrative/coordinating experience (desirable).
- Strong IT proficiency, particularly with:
- Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Ability to quickly learn new database systems and master their functions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Prioritisation skillset—ability to manage varied workloads under time-sensitive deadlines.
- Precision mindset with attention to detail and effective time management.
- Experience with internal patient management systems (preferred).
