About the Role
Join a dynamic team dedicated to producing engaging short-form video content for cultural exchange programs. This creative video editor role is perfect for someone passionate about transforming raw footage into compelling, culturally resonant stories that captivate a student audience.
As a remote collaborator, you’ll contribute to a variety of ongoing projects, supporting our mission of connecting cultures and global experiences through impactful visual storytelling.
Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble high-quality short-form video content tailored for digital platforms, ensuring it aligns with our brand voice and resonates with our audience
- Collaborate with internal teams to clarify project requirements and storytelling objectives
- Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, delivering polished assets that meet deadlines while maintaining consistency in style and quality
- Process feedback efficiently, incorporating revisions to refine final output
- Optimize video content for different social media channels and platform-specific formats

Requirements
- Proven experience in editing short-form video content, with preference for work targeting youth or educational audiences
- Proficiency with:
- CapCut
- Final Cut Pro
- Additional tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, iMovie, etc. a plus)
- Strong ability to communicate through pacing, storytelling, and visual composition
- Self-directed work ethic—able to manage multiple projects seamlessly in a remote setting
- Excellent communication skills and responsiveness to feedback
- Reliable internet connection and access to specialist editing software
- Open to candidates globally; role remote-only
