Job Description: Shopify Website Designer & Developer
Join a dynamic project to design and build a premium Shopify website for a new DIY at-home lash extension brand entering the Australian market. The site will showcase a curated catalogue of 9 products across two styles, emphasizing a kit-first purchasing journey and a high-end, editorial customer experience. All branding, photography, product copy, and a digital application guide are provided, allowing you to focus exclusively on site design and development.

Deliverables
- Design and build a Shopify website using approximately 9 well-crafted templates (homepage, collections, product pages, educational/blog content, FAQs, contact, policies).
- Implement navigation and merchandising logic that prioritizes kit-first purchases.
- Integrate and style third-party review and email capture applications.
- Ensure mobile-first design and optimal site performance.
- Configure Australian market settings (AUD, GST-inclusive).
- Provide comprehensive handover instructions for independent management of products and content.
- Recommend a suitable Shopify theme aligned with the brand’s premium positioning.

Requirements
- Proven experience designing and developing Shopify websites for DTC or beauty brands.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating premium, editorial e-commerce design.
- Expertise in Shopify theme customization, Liquid, HTML, CSS, and responsive design.
- Familiarity with integrating and styling Shopify apps (reviews, email capture).
- Ability to interpret and implement detailed branding and design references.
- Understanding of e-commerce best practices, conversion optimization, and user experience.
- Experience with Australian e-commerce settings preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver within a 3–4 week timeframe.
- Must be able to provide clear handover documentation for client self-management.
