Our client, a commercial removals/relocation company, is looking to appoint an Assistant Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of their warehouse based in Surrey.
About the Role
As Removals Assistant Warehouse Manager, you will be dealing with drivers loading vans and ensuring the safe unloading of incoming or loading of outgoing shipments.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with coordinators when queries arise regarding items received and released, investigating any discrepancies
- Drive company vehicles, which also involves HGVs and others
- Complete warehouse instructions in a timely manner
- Deal with new warehouse staff inductions and training
- File all relevant paperwork for jobs issued
- Identify and allocate correct storage areas for works received to prevent damage
- Highlight any errors identified on incoming works, such as missing object labels, incorrect or missing paperwork
- Maintain housekeeping standards within the warehouse and surrounding areas, ensuring all Health and Safety regulations are adhered to

Requirements
- Qualified Forklift truck operator/license holder
- Experience in Removals operations
