Our client, a commercial removals/relocation company, is looking to appoint an experienced Removals Porter / 3.5T Driver to join their team based in Surrey.
A typical day includes driving to and from the warehouse to the customers' address, working with a team packing, unpacking, loading, and unloading undertaking the safe handling of commercial goods, exceeding their expectations by understanding their needs, planning with excellence, and delivering with care.
What You'll Do
- Introduce yourself to the customer as the main point of contact.
- Keep the customer informed and ensure that all the client's requirements are being met.
- Driving company vehicles; ensuring that vehicles are roadworthy, keeping the cab free from rubbish, and returning the vehicle to the fleet at the end of the day clean and tidy and with adequate fuel.
- Responsible for making sure that the vehicle is legally parked.
- Working as a team undertaking the safe handling of customer goods.
- Ensuring you and your team are polite and courteous at all times, presenting in a professional manner at all times.
- Adhering to company policy on driver and vehicle safety.

What You Need
We're keen to speak to removals professionals who have experience in driving 3.5 tonne vehicles as well as the customer care, packing/unpacking, loading/unloading, and problem-solving skills this position demands.
Having a full UK driving licence and physical strength is vital for this role.
Requirements:
- Qualified 3.5T licence holder
- Experience in Removals operations
