Removals Warehouse Controller

Salary: £30,000 (GBP)

Location: Manchester

Start Date: ASAP


An exciting corporate opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehouse Controller to support our established removals client, providing packing, removals and storage services in Manchester.

This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring daily warehouse functions run efficiently, within regulatory standards, while adhering to high service quality. The successful candidate will manage documentation, file control, and operational compliance within the department.


Your Responsibilities

  • Administer all warehouse documentation, including arrival photography of consignments
  • Maintain and update inventory systems on a daily basis as needed
  • Collaborate with the Operations Team and the Rights and Quality Management (RQM) department
  • Act as a customer liaison point between the company and internal/external clients
  • Ensure effective and efficient client handling, maintaining service standards
  • Confirm quality checks for all received and dispatched consignments align with company standards
  • Operate forklift trucks and crane equipment (certified qualification required)
  • Perform warehouse and road crew duties as required
  • Provide support in the operational department when necessary

Your Requirements

  • Valid Forklift Truck Operator’s licence/qualification
  • Prior warehouse or operations experience (Removals sector a plus—not essential)
