Contracts Manager
📍 Cardiff
💷 £50,000 - £55,000 + Benefits
We're looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to take ownership of multiple retrofit and energy efficiency contracts, leading projects from tender stage through to successful delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong commercial awareness, project management experience and a proven ability to lead teams while building excellent client relationships.
The Role
- Manage contracts from mobilisation through to completion.
- Lead bid writing, tender submissions and PQQ responses.
- Monitor KPIs, profitability and operational performance.
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Oversee project delivery, ensuring programmes are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Lead and develop a team of Project Coordinators.
- Manage contract compliance, commercial performance and risk.

We're looking for someone with:
- Previous Contracts Management experience within retrofit, construction, energy efficiency or a similar sector.
- A strong track record of writing successful bids and tenders.
- Experience managing multiple projects and contracts simultaneously.
- Excellent commercial awareness and financial management skills.
- Strong leadership and people management experience.
- The ability to analyse performance data and drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable:
- Knowledge of PAS 2035/2030, ECO4, GBIS, TrustMark or MCS.
- Experience mobilising new contracts.
- Experience working within social housing or retrofit frameworks.
- Relevant construction, project management or retrofit qualifications.
- Full UK driving licence.
