Electrician (Solar PV & Renewables)
📍 South Wales (Local Work)
💰 £36,000 - £60,000 + Performance Bonuses (DOE)
🚐 Full-Time, Site-Based Role
Overview
We are looking for experienced Electricians to join a growing renewables team, delivering high-quality Solar PV and energy efficiency installations across South Wales.
This is a hands-on role focused on installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of renewable energy systems, with a strong emphasis on safety, compliance, and workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, testing, and commissioning of Solar PV systems
- Electrical works associated with renewable energy installations
- Supporting electrical aspects of Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) systems
- Inspection, testing, certification, fault-finding, and remedial works
- Ensuring full compliance with BS7671 and manufacturer standards
- Maintaining high health & safety standards on all sites

Requirements
Essential
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Proven experience in electrical installation work
- Strong fault-finding and testing ability

Desirable
- Solar PV installation experience
- Inspection & Testing qualification (e.g., 2391 or equivalent)
- Experience within renewables (Solar / ASHP / Battery Storage)
