Are you ready to join a highly experienced, growing, industry-leading Renewables team and develop your skills on transformational projects that will make a huge impact during the energy transition?
You’ll be responsible for taking on a technical engineering role across projects in our Energy business, typically spanning:
- Generation (on/offshore wind, solar PV, hydroelectric)
- Storage (battery energy storage, pumped storage)
- Grid & infrastructure (cable routes, substations, hydrogen production)
Key Responsibilities
You will support projects at all stages, from feasibility through detailed design to site construction supervision. Clients range from large energy utilities to private developers.
Technologies You’ll Work With:
- Onshore & offshore wind installations
- Solar PV project development
- Hydroelectric systems (run of river & pumped storage)
- Grid connection works (cabling, substation civil engineering)
- Hydrogen production & storage
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
Your work will directly shape the future of clean energy infrastructure across the UK, Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

Qualifications
Ready to Push the Limits of What’s Possible?
Essential Requirements
- Engineering or relevant science/physics degree (or equivalent Master’s degree)
- Demonstrated experience in a role where design was a core responsibility
- Full-cycle project design experience (from inception to detailed design)
- Chartered (or pursuing chartered status in engineering)
Preferred Experience (Not Critical—but a Bonus!)
- General energy market engineering experience (especially renewables)
- Knowledge of:
- Medium/high voltage grid connection works (cable routing, National Grid expertise)
- Hydroelectric design (run-of-river/pumped storage systems)
- Onshore wind, ideally with recent on-site experience (especially projects with turbines ≥180m tip height)
- Offshore wind projects
