Location: Farnham, Surrey
Salary: £26,500 to £32,000, depending on experience
OTE: £60,000 to £65,000
Commission: Uncapped

Valoris Group is recruiting an experienced Outbound Renewable Energy Sales Consultant on behalf of a growing UK manufacturer and installer of high-efficiency air source heat pump systems.
This is not a traditional cold-calling position. You will speak with homeowners who have already expressed an interest in renewable heating and are actively considering an air source heat pump installation.
The leads are warm, highly qualified and often already close to making a decision. Many consultants within the current team are converting approximately two out of every three qualified opportunities and earning between £2,000 and £4,000 per month in commission, with the potential to earn more.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident telephone salesperson who wants access to strong leads, a competitive basic salary and genuinely uncapped earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Contacting warm and pre-qualified residential leads
- Holding professional and consultative conversations with homeowners
- Understanding the customer's property, current heating system and requirements
- Explaining the benefits of air source heat pumps clearly and confidently
- Presenting the company's renewable heating solutions
- Discussing installation costs, potential savings and available grant support
- Explaining the customer journey from consultation through to installation
- Preparing and presenting quotations
- Answering customer questions and overcoming objections
- Following up enquiries and progressing opportunities through the sales process
- Securing customer commitment and completing the required documentation
- Maintaining accurate customer information and activity on the CRM
- Working closely with survey, design and installation teams
- Achieving individual and team sales targets

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
