Role Overview

Join Savills as a Renewable Energy Surveyor in Edinburgh or Perth and help deliver impactful energy and infrastructure projects across the UK. As part of Savills Earth, one of the UK’s largest Energy & Sustainability consultancies, you’ll work on a wide range of technologies, including onshore wind, solar PV and energy storage

In this varied role, you’ll advise clients on identifying and delivering renewable energy opportunities across their land portfolios. From feasibility assessments through to negotiating option agreements, leases and land rights, you’ll play a key role in securing commercial outcomes while gaining exposure to valuation, policy research and strategic advisory work.

Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you’ll build strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives. With a high level of autonomy, this opportunity suits someone with at least three years’ experience looking to progress their career in a fast-growing sector.

Savills offers excellent training, structured development and opportunities to get involved in national projects and specialist networks.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
