Renewable Service Engineer

Role Overview:
Responsible for the servicing and repair of ASHP systems within residential and commercial properties. This role requires a reliable professional with detailed knowledge of renewable energy systems who can manage complex problems effectively, communicate proficiently, and adapt smoothly to changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, and repair renewable energy systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety
- Conduct site assessments and audits to evaluate system efficiency and recommend improvements
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime for clients
- Provide training and support to clients on the operation and maintenance of their renewable energy systems
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative solutions for system enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of service activities and report on system performance

Skills & Experience:
- Valid domestic gas qualifications. As a minimum, successful candidates must have the following: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (essential)
- NICEIC Air Source Heat Pumps (essential)
- NICEIC Water Regulations qualification (essential)
- NICEIC Unvented Water Systems G3 qualification (essential)
- NICEIC Energy Efficiency Qualification (essential)
- Valid UK driving licence (essential)
- Solar PV / Solar Thermal experience is desirable but not essential
- Proven, practical experience as an ASHP Renewable Heating Engineer
- Technical understanding of renewable systems and an understanding of technical aspects of energy and environmental efficiency
- Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- A professional and friendly attitude with the ability to forge strong relationships with both clients and tenants

- £38,000-£41,000 per annum depending on experience
