Job Role: Sales Specialist – EMEA Renewals
Location: Amsterdam
Reports to: Manager, EMEA Renewals
Core Focus: French-based accounts with potential for broader EMEA coverage
Key Responsibilities
The right candidate will own a dynamic portfolio of renewal accounts, driving revenue sustainability while closing growth opportunities across the following pillars:
- Customer Retention & Churn Reduction
- Drive incremental renewal rates and mitigate churn
- Own the renewal sales cycle from quote inception to closure

Obsession with Data-Driven Decision Making
- Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts using SFDC and other tools
- Maintain fidelity to forecast data with exceptional accuracy

Account Growth & Expansion
- Identify upsell, consolidation, term extension, and cross-platform opportunities
- Evaluate customer accounts for strategy alignment with evolving business needs
- Leverage customer insights for tailored value propositions

Thought Leadership & Collaboration
- Illustrate enthusiasm for Palo Alto Networks' mission and value proposition
- Build and sustain partnership across Field Sales, Sales Managers, Inside Sales, and teams
- Proactively sync with Sales Account Managers for cohesive execution

Technical Complexity & Commercial Precision
- Craft complex quotes for non-standard product configurations
- Apply sophisticated revenue-accounting principles to predictable outcomes
Requirements & Qualifications
Ideal Candidate Background
- Proven track record (3+ years) in Sales, Subscription Renewals, Customer Success, or support contract management, especially with EMEA experience
- UK&I client experience strongly preferred; Fluency in French essential
- Skill developing custom quotes, CPQ configurations, and integration with Palo’s product roadmap

- Art of the Close: Proven expertise exceeding targets with uncompromising integrity
- Data-Driven Mindset: Translate complex metrics into actionable opportunity insights
- Communication: Mastery of pitches and stakeholder conversations, distilling clarity from complexity

- Product Depth: Strong grasp of Palo Alto Networks’ security portfolio
