Role Overview

Position: Rent Administrator
Reporting to: Rent Assessment Team Leader
Location: Dublin 1 (Hybrid)
Contract type: Fixed Term Contract ending 31st December 2026
Salary: €28,090 - €32,000 (DOE)

The Operations Department is dedicated to delivering essential services to our residents, including allocations, rent calculation and collection, and tenancy management. Additionally, we provide estate services and support community development activities to promote well-kept, friendly neighbourhoods.

Operations is also home to our Housing Advice Centre, Asset Management 'Clúid Works' in-house repairs service, and the Operational Excellence team, who contribute to maintaining the quality of services we provide to our residents and ensuring our properties are safe and maintained to high standards.

As Clúid Housing continues to expand rapidly, our team supports the Commercial Development Department in acquiring new properties. These properties are carefully selected to be well-designed, well-built, and located where they are most needed.

Working within the Rent Assessment Team, the Rent Administrator will provide critical support to the Rent Advisors in the preparation of documentation for annual rent review reviews. This role reports to the Rents Assessment Team Leader within the wider Income and Resolution team.

Rent Administrator

The Rent Administrator is a hybrid role and will typically involve working from our Dublin offices three days a week, with the option to work from home on the remaining two days.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process rent review returns by email and post
  • Ensure records within the Housing Management System (HMS) are kept up to date
  • Monitor the rent review email inbox on a daily basis
  • Respond and/or escalate rent assessment enquiries in line with agreed timeframes
  • Answer queries from the Housing Advice Centre in a timely and efficient manner
  • Support the Rent Assessment Team Leader in the administration of the rent review process
  • Undertake any other duties as required that are consistent with your role.

Person Specification

Essential:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • A willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in fast-paced or high-volume environments
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, using initiative where appropriate
  • Leaving Certificate, equivalent qualification, or relevant experience.
