As we continue our journey toward becoming Ireland’s most trusted and sustainable business, we have an exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to join our team as Reorder Buyer Team Lead in our Duncrue MarketPlace location.

What you’ll be doing:

Area of Responsibility: Effective stock management of product range in line with Supply Chain departmental KPI’s.

Key Activities:

  • Work collaboratively with Trading and Logistics colleagues as well as suppliers to ensure departmental KPI’s are achieved using appropriate experience and systems.
  • Manage Inbound & Outbound service levels to meet the demands of our customer.
  • Maintain product and supplier information.
  • Placing orders and maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers to ensure stock levels are sufficient to meet promotional and core demand.
  • Liaise with “Goods In” and warehouse operations as required to ensure stock is received on specific dates required.
  • Analysing system generated reports to ensure stock levels and service level performance are on track with escalation of any non-conformances accordingly.
  • Use of MDS and Power BI data system to accurately forecast stock requirements for promotions and seasonal periods.
  • Ensure that Intercompany and Bulk orders are placed and scheduled for delivery to customers.
  • Managing inbound volumes to ensure workload is balanced across the week and that the warehouse capacity is not breached.
  • Manage stock in line with KPI targets ensuring overstocks are actioned and stock is replenished as required.
  • Authorise stock for bulk customer orders while ensuring availability for other customers.
  • Performance reporting on a daily and weekly basis to indicate individual and departmental performance against targets.
  • Support to the rest of the Supply Chain Re-Order team as required during busy periods / holidays / absence / stocktakes.
  • Cover department during Reorder Managers absence.
  • Leading out on key projects and working on continuous improvement initiatives.

Area of Responsibility: Managing Suppliers

  • Monitoring supplier service levels on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Establish good working relationships with key personnel from each supplier.
  • Collaborative working with suppliers to ensure that inbound service level performance is maintained.
  • Use of escalation process (both internal and external) to deal with poor performance and ensure corrective action is agreed and implemented.

Area of Responsibility: Interfacing with other Departments & Customers

  • Develop robust working relationships cross functionally e.g. Logistics, Trading, Sales, Operations etc.
  • Keeping other Departments and Customers up to date with any current or potential interruptions to supply.
  • Respond to customer queries via Remedy system within agreed deadlines with sufficient information to satisfy the customer’s query.
  • Occasionally supporting the Drinks Inc Reorder team.

What we’re looking for:

Essential Criteria

Experience, Skills and Education

  • Previous people management / leadership experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role (within FMCG)
  • Intermediate level Excel
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, supply chain software systems and processes
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast moving and dynamic environment
  • Ability to organise self to achieve goals
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with customer queries and build strong working relationships cross functionally and with suppliers.
