Our client has an exciting opportunity within the Global Repair Network Team working closely with their external network of MROCs (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul Centre's) and authorized Repair Vendors.
The Repair Engineer (FTC) role within the Repair Network Engineering Team will play a key part in supporting the existing global capability within the Global Repair Network Team as well as future capability developments.
Job Role
- Support component repair development activities.
- Assess, investigate and sentence non-conforming components.
- Support repair scheme amendment/writing and technical variances.
- Support implementation of improvements & technical solutions (internally & externally).
- Represent engineering in the wider community during reviews and discussions.
- Maintain regulatory compliance per company, national and international standards.
- Provide technical support outside normal working hours as required (flexibility).
- Possible travel to MROCs & repair vendors to support engineering activities.
Role Requirements
- Engineering degree in a Mechanical, Materials or Manufacturing discipline. Alternatively, an acceptable level of academic and practical experience.
- Preferably have some knowledge of gas turbines and/or industrial equipment along with repair / manufacturing techniques.
- Ability to understand component definition drawings and relate to the design intent in the engine assembly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
- You will be able to interact at different levels and be a flexible self-starter.
- Be a team player and work with a wide range of people (both internal and external).
- Demonstrate ability to self-manage priorities within the team's objectives to achieve expectations.
- Preferably have some experience in a customer facing environment with a proven record of delivering technical solutions and improvements is advantageous.

Siemens Energy has an exciting opportunity within the Global Repair Network Team working closely with our external network of MROCs (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul Centers), Regional Service Centers and authorized Repair Vendors.
The Project Leader role is a senior role within the repair network team based in Warwick. You will support the ongoing development of both short-term tactical capability programmes as well as creating, and leading long-term strategic work streams that will ensure the correct levels of capability and capacity within the repair network is maintained and/or expanded as required.
You will provide hands-on capability enablement support for both AGT Gas Turbines and Power Turbines, ensuring we provide fast action responses, and create solutions that are cost effective, technically fit for purpose, and delivered in a timely manner, whilst contributing to the success of Siemens Energy.
Project manager based within the repair network picking up long term and short term projects.
Team of 10x split into 3x parts - Engineering team, Parts team and commercial legal team
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables.
What will they do on a day to day basis?
- Assess, investigate, and devise project based technical support to allow progression of our key Power Turbine and Gas Generator capability programmes.
- Project support for our MRO capability development activity, this may include working off site with customers/vendors.
- Work on fast passed issue resolution type projects that are dynamic in nature.
- Be capable of managing all aspects of project management including risk registers, communication plans and escalation processes.
- Ensure appropriate project KPIs are in place, monitored and communicated to the larger team.
- Support the MROC's and Regional Service Centres with a 'hands on' approach for new to site capability.
- Work closely with the extended MROC, Service Centres, and Repair Vendor network, analyse technical data to identify, develop and apply optimum capability solutions.
- Continuously identify and implement improvements in the work environment and in technical solutions delivered to the customer.
- You may be required to provide technical support outside normal working hours.
- Flexibility is required to meet customer requirements.
- You may be required to travel to overhaul bases and service centres at short notice, and to build working relationships with these organizations, and manage the quality of their work.

Required skill set and previous experience/background
- Engineering degree, MSc, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on mechanical or technical experience.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in leading programs and projects, ideally with a formal project management qualification.
- Ideally have working knowledge of gas turbines, power turbines, and/or aero derivative industrial equipment.
- Experience of operating in an MRO/field service or repair environment would be advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required, and you will be able to interact at all levels, demonstrate initiative, and be a flexible self-starter.
- Be able to effectively communicate at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Demonstrate a high degree of autonomy and ability to self-manage priorities within the team's objectives to achieve customer expectations.
