Salary & Benefits
- Salary range: £31,000–£37,000 (subject to experience)
- Bonus: £4,000–£8,000 commission

The Role
As a Garage Door Repair Engineer at Access Garage Doors, you’ll be a skilled professional responsible for repairing garage doors and associated products at residential properties.
What You’ll Do
- Repair all types of garage doors and related products
- Diagnose faults and identify suitable repair solutions
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and adjustments
- Deliver excellent customer service on-site
- Complete job records and paperwork
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment
- Provide assistance to installation teams as required

Who We’re Looking For
- Practical manual skills and strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Reliable, self-motivated, and proactive attitude
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting experience
- Full UK driving licence (no more than 3 points allowed)

Desirable Experience:
- Previous experience in garage doors, construction, builders’ merchants, home improvements, or trade-related roles
- Experience with servicing, maintenance, or repairs
- Experience working in customers’ homes
- Mechanical or engineering background (e.g. roller shutter, window/door installation, glazing, automatic gates, lift engineering, appliance repairs, or locksmithing)
Working Hours
Monday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
