Garage Door Repair Engineer
Location: Sidcup, Kent
Salary: £31–£37k (subject to experience) + £4–£8k commission

About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Repair Engineer to join our Sidcup branch. This is a hands-on, practical role involving the repair of garage doors and associated products, primarily on residential properties.

Responsibilities
- Repairing garage doors and associated products
- Diagnosing faults and recommending suitable fixes
- Servicing, maintenance, and adjustments of equipment
- Delivering outstanding customer service on-site
- Completing paperwork, job records, and documentation
- Maintaining company vehicles, tools, and equipment
- Assisting the installation team when required
Note: This is a hands-on role—manual handling and heavy lifting are routine tasks.
Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
- Practical manual skills and a problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong customer service & communication skills
- Sharp attention to detail
- Reliable, self-motivated approach
- Firm fault-finding & troubleshooting abilities
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 3 penalty points)

Desirable Experience
✔ Experience within:
- Garage doors, construction, builders merchants, or home improvements
- Servicing, maintenance, or repair work
- Working in customers’ homes ✔ Mechanical or engineering background
Working Hours
Typically: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm
