Orona UK’s team of 300+ full-time employees provides national installation and repair services across the region, backed by deep local market expertise.
The Role
We are looking for a motivated, ambitious, and customer-focused Sales Executive to join our Sheffield-based Repairs Team. This role is ideal for proactive individuals eager to build a career in sales with structured training and ample opportunities for progression. While previous sales experience is advantageous, full training will be provided.
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess extra works arising from:
- Client requests
- Service Manager directives
- Engineer reports
- Insurance reports
- Obtain supplier quotes, generate estimates, and prepare extra-work pricing
- Follow up and secure extra-work orders to maximise revenue
- Ensure post-completion client satisfaction through follow-ups

- Liaise effectively with both customers and colleagues to expedite repair quotation processing
- Present quotations to clients, explaining factors influencing pricing and securing approvals
Strategic Sales Functions:
- Collaborate with the Service Manager to develop & maintain strong client relationships
- Build extensive knowledge of Orona’s product portfolio
- Analyze competitor offerings and emerging market trends
- Proactively prospect & generate new sales opportunities
- Prepare quotations and leverage effective sales techniques for opportunity development
Requirements
✅ Proven experience within the lift industry (ideally) though equivalent roles may be considered
✅ Clean UK driving licence (essential)
✅ Right to Work in the UK (mandatory)
✅ Key Skills & Attributes:
- Customer focus and relationship-building – key to nurturing trust and generating repeat business
- Negotiation skills – adept at securing favourable terms without compromising relationships
- Active listening – demonstrating empathy, patience, and the ability to summarise requirements
