ATM Repair Technician – Rotherham
Financial Sector Permanent | £28,000.00 per annum

Working Arrangements
- Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00
- Pattern: On-site office role with potential overtime based on business needs
About the Role
Repair ATM modules and associated technology while maintaining quality, efficiency, and adherence to repair processes. Work closely with technical services to upgrade systems and support resolution of customer challenges, ensuring superior service outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Fault Diagnosis & Repair
- Diagnose ATM faults using test equipment and software.
- Repair and refurbish a full range of ATM modules and components.

Quality & Compliance
- Ensure repairs meet strict quality control standards.
- Maintain and test repair ATMs to confirm functionality.

Repair Operations
- Recover reusable parts from faulty or decommissioned ATMs.
- Load/unload parts and equipment deliveries.

Process & Support
- Assist with Field Operations stock and administrative tasks.
- Work alongside the Technical Support team.

Improvement Initiatives
- Contribute to extending part lifespan through continuous quality improvements.
- Implement system upgrades and enhancements as required.
Key Requirements

Basic Tech Skills:
- Proficiency in PC/MS Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of BIOS configuration.

Technical & Practical
- Electro-mechanical repair skills.
- Ability to follow technical instructions.
- Previous experience in electrical repairs or soldering (advantageous but not essential).

Systems Knowledge (not mandatory):
- Familiarity with NCR ATM systems, Wincor-Nixdorf, or Triton integrations.

Physical & Safety Consideration:
- Potential to lift heavy equipment as needed.
- Attention to detail.

Training:
- Full, scheme-bound training provided.
