We are looking for a Repairs Administrator (Repairs Services Officer) to join our Housing Repairs and Maintenance Team.

About the role
Reporting to the Business Services Team Leader, you will provide day to day operational support to the Housing Repairs and Maintenance service.
You will provide an integrated planning, scheduling and business support function within our Business Services Team.
Working closely with operatives, managers, contractors, partners, and customers, you will ensure repairs and maintenance are scheduled efficiently, information is accurate and timely, and the service delivers excellent customer outcomes.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Provide efficient scheduling and coordination of repair and maintenance activities by maintaining the job management system, ensuring accurate data, and making real-time diary adjustments to optimise resources and maximise first-time fix rates.
- Monitor operatives’ locations, job statuses, and overall progress of scheduled work, escalating risks to service delivery, targets, and SLAs promptly.
- Act as the first point of contact for repair enquiries, triaging requests, raising job orders, and coordinating appointments, materials, and service coverage, including managing absence impacts and follow-on works.
- Deliver high-quality customer and administrative support by maintaining clear communications, managing reappointments, and handling service failures or complaints in line with procedures.
- Ensure compliance with no-access processes, data protection, and health and safety standards while maintaining accurate records.
- Support financial processes such as purchase orders, invoicing, and budget monitoring, and produce reports and analysis to inform performance.
- Provide general business support, including document preparation and minute taking.

About you
We are looking for a confident and organised Administrator, preferably with experience of scheduling/planning, and or business support in a repairs and maintenance environment.
Educated to NVQ Level 3/A level standard or able to demonstrate equivalent level of experience gained in the workplace.
You will need to have strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office. Experience of a job management or scheduling system would be an advantage.
We are looking for a team player with excellent communication and customer service skills. You will be passionate about providing a first-class service and continuous improvement to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
