Your Future Role
To ensure all customer enquiries, quotations, and orders are processed using the Alstom Electronics business systems to a high standard of right-first-time and efficiency.
- Establish close liaison with planning, manufacturing, engineering, and sales to support high standards of customer service.
- Provide fast resolutions for service-effecting issues.
- Raise overall standards of customer focus.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all customer enquiries, quotes, and orders are processed via business systems right first time and compliant with customer requirements.
- Handle communication of any customer concerns.
- Serve as the main point of contact for general customer enquiries.
- Guarantee a high service level for all visitors and customers at Alstom Electronics.
- General administration duties as required—efficiently, effectively, and professionally.
- Adhere to targets and deadlines set by the Operations Manager.
- Report all HR/HSE issues.
- Foster strong working relationships with assembly teams, sales, purchasing, and key stakeholders.
- Ensure KPI targets for delivery and service levels are consistently met.
- Maintain full compliance with Alstom’s quality standards.

Who We’re Looking For

- Strong understanding of:
- Administration
- Order coordination
- Planning
- Microsoft Office
- MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) systems
- Quality systems
- Experience in a relevant manufacturing environment, utilising modern business and office computer systems.
- Education to at least Diploma level in either:
- Business Administration
- Sales Coordination
- Demonstrable traits:
- Exceptionally well-organised
- Disciplined
- Logical thinker
- Self-motivated
- Strong ability to communicate at all levels
- Ability to think innovatively
- Commitment to delivering high standards in customer order processing and general administration.
