Repairs Manager
Current vacancy for a Repairs Manager for a housing provider in the West Midlands.
Permanent post salary of £40845 plus good benefits package.
Main Purpose of Job
To manage and assist the day-to-day operations of the multi-disciplinary Homeforce Repairs Team ensuring that operatives are recruited appraised and trained in line with policy and practice and have the tools and materials to do their job efficiently.

To ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through agreed work scheduling ensuring the operational & commercial efficiency of the team is maximised. The candidate will ensure that they are organised to carry out a multiple quality inspection and works surveys to properties within a defined geographical area, carrying out investment, responsive repairs inspections along with the management of quality on the contract.

Key experience / duties,
Management of staff and sub contractors. Ensuring health and safety standards. Procurement including tendering contracts. Maintenance knowledge including schedule of rates. Ideally you will have a HNC in building / construction and experience of working within social housing.
