We are currently supporting a leading housing organisation in their search for an experienced Repairs Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with a strong background in responsive repairs, contractor management, service delivery, and operational leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day delivery of responsive repairs and maintenance services.
- Oversee contractor performance, ensuring KPIs and service standards are consistently achieved.
- Drive customer satisfaction through the delivery of efficient and effective repairs services.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and expenditure across repairs and maintenance programmes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement service improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
- Lead, support, and develop teams to deliver high-quality services to residents.

Candidate Criteria
- Proven experience in a Repairs Manager, Maintenance Manager, Property Services Manager, or similar role within social housing.
- Strong understanding of responsive repairs, voids, planned maintenance, and contractor management.
- Experience managing budgets, performance metrics, and service delivery targets.
- Knowledge of housing compliance and health and safety regulations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- A customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering high-quality services.
