Repairs Supervisor

Repairs Supervisor - Interim Role

We are currently recruiting for a Repairs Supervisor to join a social housing group on an interim basis, overseeing responsive repairs and maintenance services across their housing stock in Spalding.

As a Repairs Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of repairs, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is an excellent opportunity to join a customer-focused organisation and make an immediate impact within a busy repairs team.

What's on offer:

  • Rate: £25-£30 per hour (DOE)
  • Contract: 6 Months
  • Location: Spalding

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the delivery of responsive repairs and maintenance works.
  • Manage operatives, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure service targets are achieved.
  • Monitor repair performance, quality, and productivity.
  • Carry out post-inspections and quality assurance checks.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies.
  • Investigate and resolve complex repair issues and resident complaints.
  • Support the planning and allocation of resources to maximise efficiency.
  • Produce reports and updates on performance and service delivery.

The Successful Repairs Supervisor Will Have:

  • Previous experience supervising responsive repairs within social housing.
  • Strong knowledge of housing maintenance and building repairs.
  • Experience managing direct labour teams and contractors.
  • Good understanding of health and safety and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and customer service skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
