Managed by a Repairs Manager, you’ll be part of a supportive and welcoming team. This is a full time, permanent position working 37 hours per week. Hours will be flexible however you may be required to work occasionally outside of normal working hours including evenings and weekends. These hours would be agreed in advance and implemented on a rota basis. You'll also be required to participate in a Duty Manager call out rota, this rota will also be agreed in advance and implemented on a rota basis. We promote agile working, where you’ll be able to work from home and various sites around the city.
What You’ll Be Doing
- As well as management responsibility, you’ll deal with complex operational problems, giving technical advice and providing on-site support to staff as necessary.
- Using your experience in building construction and maintenance work you'll undertake pre and post property inspections and produce reports required including specifications, risk assessments, method statements and other associated paperwork to ensure that approved standards of repairs are met within defined timescales, whilst maximising output in a customer focused environment.

- Understanding the importance of putting the customer first you’ll have experience of working in a customer focused environment.
- Being able to manage professional staff.
- Understanding the pressures and demands placed on your teams roles offering support, direction and guidance.
- While also demonstrating managerial skills and experience to create innovative and efficient processes.
