**Content Editor – Marketing Week
About The Role
At Marketing Week, we create relevant, exclusive, and high-impact content that empowers industry leaders to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing & delivering compelling content, including:
- News & analysis
- Data-driven stories
- Features & profiles
- Social & video content
- Staying ahead of emerging trends in marketing and business
- Building & nurturing a network of industry thought leaders
- Leveraging social media to promote and amplify content
- Attendance at and support for brand events like the Festival of Marketing and Leadership Summit
- Collaborating with commercial teams on paid webinars and roundtables
- Growing personal expertise through internal and external engagement
Minimum Requirements & Skills
- Excellent writing skills, able to condense complex information into clear, impactful narratives
- Innovative approach to creating and distributing content under pressure
- Strong multitasking ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Proactive networking skills, including making out-of-hours contacts (e.g., at events)
- Prerequisite experience in a reporting role
- Strong verbal & written communication for engaging storylines
- Data storytelling expertise – turning insights into compelling reporting
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
