Reporting Accountant – Investment Accounting Team
About the Role
We are seeking a Reporting Accountant to join our UK Investment Accounting team, delivering high-quality reporting solutions for a diverse portfolio of clients. With our team growing rapidly thanks to a surge in new client acquisitions, this role offers an exciting opportunity for you to make a meaningful impact.
The Investment, Accounting, and Reporting Solutions division operates globally across the UK, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, Germany, and Poland. As a Reporting Accountant, you will work closely with a dedicated team to ensure our reporting services meet client expectations and adhere to industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring prompt, accurate, and tailored reporting for your assigned portfolio.
- Develop and produce custom monthly and quarterly management reports aligned with specific client requirements.
- Prepare annual and interim standalone and consolidated financial statements in compliance with:
- IFRS
- FRS 102 (UK and Channel Islands)
- For entities including:
- Limited Partnerships
- Unit Trusts
- Limited Companies
- Limited Liability Partnerships (specialising in property investment)
- Identify process improvement opportunities and collaborate with the Director to implement efficient solutions.
- Support the team with financial analysis and deliver client-focused reporting.
- Generate investor reports and prepare:
- VAT returns
- CIS returns (Construction Industry Scheme)
- Perform due diligence and calculate Net Asset Value (NAV) for transactions, including acquisitions and disposals.

Qualifications & Experience
- Working towards an accounting qualification (e.g., CA, ACCA, or CIMA) is highly preferred, though not compulsory.
- Experienced in preparing financial statements and accounting under IFRS and FRS 102.
- Ability to analyze technical scenarios using sound judgment and expertise.
- Fluent in Microsoft Office (proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Strong organisational skills and a detail-oriented approach.
