Reporting Accountant
About The Role
We are seeking an exceptional Reporting Accountant to manage the Group’s consolidation and reporting requirements in IBM Planning Analytics (TM1). The role will act as a subject matter expert within Finance for the Group’s consolidation system (TM1) and drive the rollout of the system to the global Finance team, in the process replacing Excel-based reporting. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment where there is significant scope for improvement and automation in the monthly reporting process.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary subject matter expert in Finance for the TM1 system.
- Lead development of other subject matter experts in Finance for the TM1 system.
- Develop a standard set of financial reports within TM1 and lead the rollout of these reports to the global finance team.
- Lead the move of financial reporting from an Excel-based to a system-based environment.
- Continuous improvement of financial reports in TM1 to support requirements of regional and Group Finance teams.
- Co-ordinate the month end reporting process in TM1, e.g. opening and closing periods.
- Co-ordinate the budget, forecast and other scenarios in TM1 as required.
- Ensure TM1 is set up to support actual and proforma reporting.
- Ensure all Group entities are correctly loaded into TM1 on a timely basis and reporting in correct scenarios.
- Lead changes in TM1 set up to meet business requirements, e.g. changes to practice areas.
- Support the automation of Board, MBR and other reporting into TM1.
- Act as the main interface between Business Systems team and the global Finance team for TM1.
- Support the integration of acquired entities into TM1.
- Oversee users of TM1, e.g. access requests.
- Support continuous improvements in Finance processes.
- Support other finance verticals (e.g. FP&A, Reporting, Audit) with data extraction from TM1.
- Understand the interface between TM1 and other systems used by the Group, e.g. Vantagepoint, Workday.
- Support continuous development of the Group’s data warehouse.
- Support Group Finance initiatives as required.

Essential Skills
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience of IBM Planning Analytics (TM1).
- Experience of consolidated reporting in a global and multi-currency organisation.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a private equity–backed or fast‑growth environment is advantageous.
Behavioural Skills
- Comfortable working at pace, managing multiple priorities in an evolving environment.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with a willingness to get hands‑on.
