Reporting Analyst

Reporting Analyst (6 Month FTC) – Payroll & MyTime Programme

About the Role

BAM UK&I are hiring an experienced Reporting Analyst for a 6-month fixed-term contract (FTC) to lead the analysis, definition, design, testing, and transition of reporting requirements into Business as Usual (BAU) operations within the Payroll & MyTime Programme.

You’ll act as the key bridge between business teams, system integrators, technical teams, and operational support, ensuring reporting capability is fully established pre- and post-go-live.

This role offers more than a next step—it’s an opportunity to invest in your own development within a multi-sector, leadership-focused organisation that empowers growth. Work flexibly from any UK or Ireland office on a hybrid basis.

Key Responsibilities

1. Reporting Requirements & Analysis

  • Collaborate closely with Payroll, Time Management, HR, Finance, and operational stakeholders to capture complete reporting requirements across the end-to-end process landscape.
  • Lead and facilitate workshops to define business reporting needs, critical metrics, and decision-making frameworks.
  • Analysing current-state reporting to simplify, standardise, and optimise processes.
  • Consolidate and document reporting requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability documentation for the entire delivery lifecycle.

2. Report Design & Development

  • Translate business needs into technical report specifications, design documentation, and governance frameworks.
  • Execute sleepovers with technical teams and vendors to design, develop, and implement reports, dashboards, and data extracts.
  • Support design decisions around report frequency, ownership, security, and data access.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, aligned with the future-state operating model, and capable of undergoing future Business transformations.

3. Data & Governance

  • Define an enterprise reporting catalogue and establish governance structures, including ownership responsibility.
  • Support data validation and reconciliation activities across Payroll and MyTime systems.
  • Align reporting outputs to Internal controls, statutory legal requirements, audit obligations, and data compliance standards.
  • Foster data quality standards and reporting best practices.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
