Reporting Analyst
Location: United Kingdom
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is seeking a Reporting Analyst within a fast-paced, international digital environment, bridging data quality, business intelligence, and product analytics.
This role focuses on ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and usability of reporting systems that drive key business and product decisions. You will work closely with analysts, product teams, and stakeholders, translating business needs into structured reporting solutions and actionable insights.
The role combines hands-on technical work (SQL and BI tools) with strong collaboration and problem-solving across teams.
About the Role
You will be instrumental in shaping dashboards that track core performance metrics and operational health. Your impact stems from maintaining data integrity and clarity, directly influencing decision-making across the organisation.
Accountabilities
- Ensure high-quality, reliable reporting systems, maintaining data accuracy, building dashboards, and addressing analytical needs across the business
- Monitor and validate data quality, ensuring consistency, completeness, and accuracy across reports and dashboards
- Conduct regular checks to guarantee timely updates and reliability of reporting datasets
- Build, maintain, and optimise automated dashboards and reports tracking key business and product metrics (e.g., using Tableau)
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in data pipelines, including extraction, transformation, and reporting layers
- Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure correct interpretation of business metrics
- Support continuous improvement of reporting workflows and dashboard performance to enhance usability and efficiency

Requirements
- Strong data and reporting experience, with expertise in:
- SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and complex analytical query writing
- Experience working with BI tools (Tableau) and data visualisation
- 2+ years ETL or reporting experience

- Ability to translate business questions into structured analytical solutions
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and focus on data accuracy
- Proven experience with stakeholder management (requirements gathering, design, presenting insights)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage reporting tasks end-to-end
- Fluent in English (Pre-Intermediate level or higher)
- Data integrity mindset, alongside adaptability within a digital product environment
