Job Title: Reporting and Analytics Analyst 2 Department: Health Sciences | Clinical and Translational Science Institute The Reporting and Analytics Analyst supports and promotes research, business, marketing, communications and administrative functions within the Clinical and Translational Institute (CTSI) by using advanced qualitative and quantitative data analysis to demonstrate impact and support leadership decision-making. Plans, determines and conducts qualitative data analysis in virtualized and non-virtualized instances; designs, builds and establishes advanced electronic data capture systems for integrated data capture; monitors, evaluates and ensures quality control of data entry across multiple areas and contexts; Leads and performs integration of multiple data sources across business unit functions, shared and virtual data systems using shared data platforms and vendor-mandated systems and technologies; analyzes workflow, identifying logistical and/or operational issues to target for improvement; Works closely with CTSI evaluation and communications teams to provide recommendations to leadership based on internal and market/industry data; proactively identifies information needs throughout the CTSI. This role also supports CTSI marketing and communications strategy through the analysis of digital engagement, website performance and impact data to enhance strategic outreach effectiveness and visibility. Uses programmatic, financial and operational data to lead development and administration of secure dashboard environments to clearly demonstrate impact, assess program sustainability and enhance decision-making for CTSI leadership; plans, develops, manages and evaluates publication tracking for the CTSI. Provides data services according to established policies, procedures and appropriate methodologies for analysis of data; identifies the need for additional reporting tools and works with programmers to develop and implement. The Analyst must have excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to translate complex technical concepts in non-technical business terms; strong interpersonal skills with a passion for building and maintaining strategic partnerships, be able to work both independently and as part of a team, have the ability to balance competing priorities, manage multiple concurrent projects, identify problems and anticipate needs, resolve data problems, create and maintain documentation for processes, exceptions and decision making criteria for projects and ongoing processes, able to flex and adapt to changing environments and leadership; independently represent leadership and the CTSI in national meetings Minimum Education Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable. 2 years of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred. Extensive experience Tableau Prep Builder and Tableau preferred.
