About the Role
The Report Developer is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence reports and dashboards across Vinarchy’s BI platforms.
The role works closely with internal stakeholders and offshore teams to resolve reporting issues, deliver enhancements and continuously improve reporting capability. While not a people leadership role, the position includes mentoring offshore team members and promoting best practice in report development, data quality and documentation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing and maintaining BI reports, dashboards and scorecards using enterprise BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Cognos, Tableau)
- Translating business requirements into technical specifications and high quality reporting solutions
- Ensuring reports meet accuracy, usability, performance and data governance standards
- Supporting ETL processes and data integration for reporting needs
- Providing day to day technical support for BI platforms, ensuring stability and performance
- Monitoring data flows between data warehouses and reporting applications
- Performing data validation and reconciliation to ensure reporting accuracy
- Coordinating with peers and offshore teams to resolve incidents and service requests
- Maintaining user access and security settings for reporting systems
- Creating and maintaining reusable reporting templates and documentation
- Identifying opportunities to automate reporting and improve efficiency
- Mentoring offshore team members and sharing knowledge and best practice
- Supporting audit, regulatory and compliance requirements through clear controls and documentation

What You'll Bring:
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- 3+ years’ experience in BI report development or a similar reporting/analytics role
- Strong proficiency in BI tools (particularly Power BI) and SQL
- Solid understanding of data modelling, relational databases and data warehousing concepts
- Experience supporting ETL processes and basic data integration
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with offshore teams across multiple time zones
- Clear communication and stakeholder engagement capability
- Experience documenting processes, standards and reporting solutions
- Familiarity with data governance, security and compliance principles
- A tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline is desirable but not essential
