RePower Program: Product Engineering Specialist

At Cummins, we recognise the decision to come back into your desired career after an extended career break can be intimidating. We value your diverse background, education, and experience and believe that we can help Power Your Potential as you make the return.

RePower, our return-to-work program, is designed specifically for candidates like you: people who have some professional work experience and an employment gap of 2 years and above for a variety of reasons and are now ready to return to the workforce. The program supports re-engagement of skills through fulfilling work assignments; training, coaching, and development; and a sense of community and networking that cohorts provide.

The role is a 6-month paid and benefited returnship which is aimed at providing you with the necessary extensive internal resources to support your return to paid work. During your time with us, you will be provided with an opportunity to use your specialist skills, expertise, interests, and abilities on meaningful projects. Following the 6-month returnship, successful participants may be eligible for full-time employment opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
