About the Role

The Research Analyst will deliver high-quality market insight critical for client decision-making. Leveraging internal data alongside diverse secondary and primary sources, the role focuses on building, validating, and refining market estimates using rigorous research methodologies.

Beyond accuracy, the Research Analyst transforms data into valuable outputs by enriching them with local market, consumer, and industry insight. This involves crafting compelling narratives that contextualise findings for maximum client relevance.

The position is highly collaborative and outward-facing, demanding proactive client engagement to foster enduring relationships. Responsibilities include industry outreach, local secondary research, and insight development tailored to commercial priorities and accurate European market representation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research & Data Evaluation

    • Identify relevant data sources
    • Critically assess information, pinpointing research gaps
    • Conduct targeted research to address gaps
  • Primary & Secondary Research

    • Execute primary research to strengthen industry insights
    • Survey local sources (news, company reports, trade publications)
  • Collaborative Insight Sharing

    • Share research-based insights with Regional Teams
    • Support data revisions relating to market size, brand share, distribution
  • Market Specialisation

    • Develop expertise across European economies, industries, and consumer trends
    • Refine forecasts incorporating forecast drivers and regional insights
  • Client Relationships

    • Build and sustain long-term relationships with key clients & industry contacts
    • Collaborate with Client Support Team to convert queries into deeper engagement
    • Inform strategic alignment with Commercial Teams across Europe
  • Market & Content Ownership

    • Highlight local (European) relevance in internal data outputs
    • Own European narrative across reports, marketing, and client interactions
