A Snapshot of Your Day

Join us as a Research and Development Project Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing engine efficiencies and reducing emissions in gas turbines. Imagine leading a highly motivated team, driving project execution while adhering to quality standards that ensure the safe introduction of innovative solutions. You will collaborate with diverse professionals, focusing on Turbine Blades and Vanes components, and facilitate transitions to new suppliers. Your contributions will provide meaningful benefits to our customers and support Siemens Energy’s mission of sustainability.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Engage partners to define project scope and effectively communicate requirements to project teams.
  • Collaborate with Technical Leads and Resource Owners to develop project plans in Microsoft Enterprise Project Management (EPM), ensuring milestone results are delivered on schedule.
  • Manage the project throughout the Product Development Process (PDP), taking full accountability for delivering the defined scope.
  • Lead project execution by coordinating multiple functions, including engineering, business controlling, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing.
  • Identify Project KPIs and implement a robust communication plan to report project status and forecasts, serving as the single point of contact for partner inquiries.
  • Act as an Entrepreneur during project execution by proactively identifying opportunities and challenges, ensuring timely decisions on open issues, and escalating when necessary.
  • Manage risks by developing effective strategies for risk mitigation based on business risk appetites.

What You Bring

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering with over 5 years of proven Project Management experience across functions.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, coupled with strong leadership skills, self-motivation, and a passion for ownership.
  • Experience in Project Management excellence areas, including Lean and Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in developing, monitoring, and controlling project plans within an engineering environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of gas turbine products, technology, and product development practices, particularly in Turbine Blades and Vanes Manufacturing.
  • RDPM certification, PMP certification, or a recognized equivalent is preferred.
  • Fluency in English is required to comprehend documentation and communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and international colleagues, in a French-speaking environment.

Our Gas Services division is dedicated to providing low-emission power generation through innovative services and decarbonization efforts. We focus on delivering zero or low-emission power generation solutions, encompassing all gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators. Our team is committed to exploring decarbonization opportunities through modernization and digitalization of our fleet, ensuring a sustainable future for energy generation.
