Research Assistant Position

This Research Assistant post is 0.3FTE (10.5 hours) for a 12 months fixed term based at Ashworth High Secure Hospital, Mersey Care NHS Trust. You will be based in the Ashworth Research Centre (ARC) within the hospital, which is funded as part of Liverpool John Moores University, School of Psychology.

You will work as part of specified research grants and/or projects, collecting data and conducting literature and database surveys. A degree in psychology (2:1 or above) or equivalent, a Masters degree in a relevant area or equivalent, and experience of working in a mental health or forensic field directly with clients or patients is essential. Applicants without this will not be shortlisted.
