Join Air Street Capital to research and co-author the 2026 State of AI Report alongside Nathan Benaich. You will distill complex academic papers and industry shifts into a compelling narrative for hundreds of thousands of readers. What You Will Do
- Read and distill complex academic papers, policy developments, and industry trends into clear, opinionated analytical summaries for a broad global audience.
- Conceive and execute non-obvious narratives and primary research, creating high-quality analysis, charts, and slides that maintain the report's distinct tone and visual style.
- Fact-check key content and coordinate with external peer reviewers to ensure the highest levels of accuracy, balance, and clarity in the final publication.
The ideal candidate
- Technically fluent AI researcher, potentially a PhD or Postdoc, with a deep understanding of recent developments in both academic and applied machine learning.
- Exceptional writer and communicator who can present sophisticated technical concepts to non-specialist audiences without losing rigor or depth.
- Independently motivated individual with a background in the AI startup landscape or industrial research who can deliver polished work on a tight 30-day timeline.
