Research Assistant Opportunity at Broadmoor Hospital
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a research assistant in Broadmoor Hospital.
In 2019, we moved into the new hospital, which provides a modern, state-of-the-art, high secure facility for patients from across London and southern England that meets national and local policy requirements. The environment is safe and secure in relation to protection of the public, visitors, staff, and patients. It is designed to maximise the delivery of modern clinical care.
About the Role
We are seeking a research assistant to work within the Broadmoor Research hub. The successful candidate will have experience in research, be enthusiastic, and focused on improving the quality of care within forensic mental health settings.
Responsibilities
- Take part in all aspects of research on site.
- Help develop and coordinate future research proposals including those co-produced with patients.
- Opportunities to develop your own projects under the supervision of the research lead.
- Help facilitate two patient involvement groups.
- Support the organisation of research presentations and conferences.
- Help manage the Research Hub’s website.
