JR102871 - Research Assistant in Tissue Engineering

Band 6 - UO24 to UO30
£33,002 - £28,784 per annum
Fixed Term (2 years)

We are inviting applications from candidates with a strong background in cellular and molecular biology, particularly those with extensive experience in mammalian cell culture, primary cell culture, microscopy and imaging-based assays. Experience with 3D bioprinting, organ-on-chip systems, microfluidic devices or engineered tissue models is essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and biological validation of vascularized, bio printed human pancreatic tissue constructs. Working closely with biological, engineering and computational colleagues, the post-holder will help coordinate experimental workflows, prepare samples, perform assays and contribute to the generation of high-quality, reproducible datasets.
