About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) funded clinical research project developing a brief psychological intervention for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) for adults who have experienced serious injury. The intervention will be delivered within the King’s College Hospital (KCH) Major Trauma Centre (MTC) outpatient psychology service. KCH MTC is one of four major trauma centres in London providing specialist multidisciplinary care for patients with severe and complex physical injuries.

Responsibilities

  • Work across clinical and research settings
  • Contribute to co-design workshops with lived experience advisors
  • Participant mental health screening, triage, and informed consent
  • Questionnaire data collection
  • Database management
  • Qualitative interviews
  • Support accurate and secure data management
  • Contribute to analysis and dissemination activities
  • Assist with the effective coordination of the study
    • Organising meetings
    • Preparing documentation
    • Maintaining clear and accurate study records
