Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in library research services? Do you have experience of Open Research and Research Data Management, including the principles, technologies and processes that underpin them?
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, organised and motivated individual to work as a Research Data Management Advisor within our Open Research Services Team, part of Library and Learning Services.
You’ll design and deliver support, training and guidance for all researchers (postgraduates to professors) in the research data lifecycle and Open Research practice including advising on funder, legal, ethical and practical issues; data management plans; data storage; data sharing in accordance with FAIR principles; use of university systems to support the lifecycle.

This role is suitable for a mixture of on campus and hybrid working. The role will work across our City and Headingley Campuses, with the opportunity for some home working. Working arrangements are dependent on the job role, team and University requirements and will be discussed with candidates at interview.
