Research Executive – Adelphi Research
About the Role
Research Executive positions within Adelphi Research provide an opportunity to become part of a prestigious market research consultancy specialising exclusively in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. In this role, you will gain exposure to global market research methodologies across diverse therapy areas while supporting critical business decisions.
This hybrid role will require you to work 3 days per week from our Bollington, Cheshire office, with a initial 5-day weekly office requirement for onboarding/training. Successful candidates must commit to the hybrid working policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish expertise in market research techniques, including qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
- Act as a key liaison between Adelphi’s office and local market partners for global research projects.
- Support project teams through all phases of research, from project design to delivery and analysis.
- Contribute to study frameworks, preparation of supplier briefings, and moderate fieldwork activities.
- Coordinate logistics (e.g., scheduling Central Location (CL) sessions, distributing materials, managing recruiters, and briefing fieldwork teams).
- Present findings, ensuring clear and structured insights are shared with senior teams and clients.
- Support commission-wide initiatives and provide guidance to more junior research team members.

The Person
We’re looking for a curious, proactive, and detail-oriented individual with:
- Strong organisation and communication skills to coordinate complex international studies.
- Passion for market research and professional growth.
Lofty candidates demonstrate:
- Patience in understanding therapy-area nuances.
- Willingness to draw meaningful insights from diverse research inputs.
- Independence in managing projects but willingness to collaborate.
Role Requirements
You will work under supervision of the Senior Research Executive or Research Manager while developing your independence. Responsibilities include:
Project Coordination & Support
- Help design research projects, frame analysis frameworks, and brief fieldwork teams.
- Independently manage fieldwork agencies (CL scheduling, material distribution, moderation briefings).
Field Involvement & Delivery
- Take part in interviews (supporting semi-structured or depth interviews).
- Attend Central Location Sessions (CL) with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate on briefs, presentations, and findings dashboards aligned with senior strategies.
Collaborative & Development Roles
- Support company-wide initiatives alongside new team members.
- Provide mentorship to newer colleagues.

Education & Experience
Essential:
- Degree-level qualification in social sciences, healthcare, business/economics, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
- Strong research interest in unmet clinical or commercial needs.
Preferred:
- Fluency in Western European, Eastern European, or Russian.
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical research, market research, or quantitative/qualitative fieldwork.
