About the Role

Are you an experienced health professions/services researcher with experience and skills in developing and undertaking qualitative or mixed methods projects, with specialist knowledge in workforce wellbeing research?

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and undertake a small number of projects (e.g. mapping of fatigue management activity, analysis of fatigue discourses, incident report research) in discussion with colleagues and the successful candidate.

Role specifics

  • This is an eighteen-month post time-limited to 1 September 2026 until 31 March 2028.
  • The role allows you to develop and lead research activity focused on healthcare staff fatigue, an emerging area gaining traction both nationally and internationally.
  • There may be opportunities to network with researchers and academics from other locations, industries, and countries.
  • Some fieldwork may require in-person travel across different parts of the UK.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
